The answer is 3√5. You use the distance formula: √((x2-x1)^2+(y2-y1)^2)

You would use the distance formula sqrt( (x2 - x1)^2 + (y2 - y1)^2)
sqrt( (0-3)^2 + (-2--8)^2)
sqrt( (-3)^2 + (6)^2 )
sqrt( 9 + 36 )
sqrt(45)
simplified 3sqrt5
decimal 6.71
