What is the value of X?

My best guess would be 11.52. 9 + 16 = 25. Divide 25 (hypotenuse) by 2 to get 12.5, the length of the shorter leg of the whole triangle. Since the triangles are similar, they are proportional. Divide 9 by 12.5, then multiply the answer by 16.
