3cm/4ft=18cm/x

3x=4(18)

3x=72

x=24ft
the diameter of the circle is 24ft so the radius is 12ft
find the area of the circle with the radius
A=452.4ft squared

The actual area is 454.1 ft.

You can use a ratio to find the actual diameter:
18cm/3cm = x/4ft.
x = 24 ft.

Then find the area using A=pi*r^2
A=pi*144
A=452.4 ft.
