Im not sure if formula units are equivalent to moles but I am gonna solve this as if they are lol. So 17.6 g is the given. You want to divide by your molar mass to cancel out the grams. Then you are left with moles as the unit for your final answer.
(17.6 g CuCl2 x 1 mol CuCl2)/(134.45 g/mol CuCl2)
