To answer this, u need to do pemdas.
Parenthesis
Exponents
Multiplication
Division
Addition
Subtraction
3(-4)+5
Dirt, u do 3(-4)
That equals -12
Then add 5
-12+5 is -7
So, this is how it looks like:
3(-4)+5
-12+5
-7
So, the answer is -7
