Triangles A and B are similar.
If the slope of y is -2, what is the slope of x?

You basically dilate the slope of y to the slope of x by the same scale factor at which all the sides of the triangles are dilated or increased/decreased by.

Slope x would be -1 because if you enlarge the triangle on the right to make it even with the triangle on the left, you will get the same answer. I hope this helps you out.
