EXCUSE YOU?!?! He defeated Kronos, Ares, Hades, an entire army of the dead with one sword, dipped in the river Styx, held the sky, defeated Gaea (sort of...? It was really Leo.), fought Amazons, saved the world not once, but twice, fought Empousai, the Minotaur twice, Medusa, Procrustes, the Nemean Lion, Geyron, Hellhounds (even managed to befriend one), Sobek's son, (evil) Cyclops, (evil) Centaurs, Tellkhines, Otis, Ephialtes, Luke (though, Luke sort of defeated himself), and a lot, lot more. Did I mention defeating Kronos? He was still new to being a demigod. He even jumped into (and survived) Tartarus (he jumped in the name of love). He was only fifteen when he was asked immorally. He turned it down. He found and returned the Golden Fleece, brought back Thalia, almost killed Nico (long story), stole the heart of many people (Nico, Annabeth, Calypso, an Amazon, Rachel, etc). DO YOU WANT ME TO EXPLAIN HOW ALL OF THIS MAKES HIM A HERO?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

Percy Jackson is a hero, because in the story he saved the world from being destroyed by gods multiple times.
