Can anyone help me answer these questions? Soon as possible!
I need the answer either dependent or independent.
Introduction to Probability (Independent vs. Dependent) Events

1. Austin picks a marble at random. Without putting the first marble back, he picks a second marble at random.

Are these events dependent or independent?

2. A customer selects a brand of orange juice to buy for her family at the supermarket. In a different city, another customer also happens to pick a brand of juice to buy.

Are these events dependent or independent?


3. A customer purchases a lottery ticket that requires him to select six numbers. A few minutes later, another customer purchases a ticket, also choosing six numbers.

Are these events dependent or independent?

In the first one the Independent event is the first marble picked while the dependent event is the second marble picked because the probabilities changes due to the first marble being left out. The second series of events are independent from one another because they didnt influence one another in any way. The final one is most likely independent of one another because it doesnt say anything about the second customer picking numbers to match the first customers.
