If the outliers are not included, what is the mean of the data set?

76, 79, 80, 82, 50, 78, 83, 79, 81, 82

If you don't include the outlier (50) then it is 79.7

If your data set includes the numbers 50 and 83 then the only outlier is 50, so when you add 76+79+79+80+81+82+82+83=642/8 total number of in data set=80.25 so the correct mean of the data set is 80.
