X=Bailey and Larry
X-6=Kelly
Equation:
2(x-6)= 2x+12
This would have more than one solution.
When the equations are the same on both sides, you can plug in any number.
2,15,7,3,etc...

Let x be the ages of the twin brothers, Bailey and Larry. With this representation, it may be deduced that Kelly's age is x-6. From the given scenario above, the equation that we can generate is,
2x = 2(x-6) + 12
The value of x from the equation is 0.5 which is quite unreasonable.
