Area of a polygon = (# of sides * side length * apothem) / 2

apothem^2 = 4^2 -2^2
apothem^2 = 16 -4
apothem = 3.1622776602

Area of a polygon = (6 * 4 * 3.162) / 2
=37.95

[(3* sqrt(3)) / 2] * (4^2) is about equal to 41.57.

P.S. I think you should be able to do this, considering the fact that I'm only in fifth grade... But don't feel bad if you don't because I'm actually already doing calculus ^^.

Hope this helped!!!
