My math teach gave us a homework packet and didn't teach us the second part of it so maybe you guys can help me out.... what is: p + 9 < 7

Subtract 9 from each side

that's exactly what I'm doing but I'm past that
I figured out what p was I solved it in then I grafted I hope this helps you

I also showed my work so that you can read it and understand what I've done

all you have to do is rewrite the problem cancel 9 out because 9 - 9 equals zero you put P there instead of zero and then you put the less than sign and then you do it 7-9 and that gives you -2 after that right next to it you substitute and put -2 for p and you do -2 + 9 is less than 7 and then right next to where I graphed it
