Answer:

y - 4 = -1/2 (x+1)

Explanation:

The point slope form of the equation is expressed as;

y-y0 = m(x-x0)

Get the slope

m = 4-5/-1-(-3)

m = -1/2

Substitute any of the point and m = -1/2 into the expression

y - 4 = -1/2 (x+1)

2(y-4) = -(x+1)

2y-8 = -x-1

2y+x = -1+8

2y+x = 7

Hence the required equation of the line is 2y+x = 7
