Volume. The water moves up in the grad cylinder equal to the amount of space the rock takes up. Displacement.

Answer:

C.Volume

Step-by-step explanation:

The volume is the space that a body occupies. For example, we can measure the volume that a certain amount of liquid occupies if we place it in a graduated cylinder. In the case of solid materials we could measure the volume if the object to be measured has a shape for which we have the volume formula (such a sphere or a cube). But what happens if the object is irregular?

Eureka! History tells us that Archimedes pronounced this word after discovering that the volume of water that rises is equal to the volume of the submerged body. When he got into a bathtub full of water and the displaced water ended up overflowing.

With this principle we can measure the volume of any object. The volume displaced in the image is equal to the volume of the stone (10ml).
