A running track in the shape of an oval is shown. The ends of the track form semicircles.

What is the perimeter of the inside of the track?

(π = 3.14)

100 + 100 = 200
This is for the top and bottom of the inside of the track.

Then, imagine there is another 62 on the other side. So 62 + 62 = 124.

Then, we have to find the circumference of the circle. The formula for circumference is 2 π r.

First, (2) • 3.14 • 62
Second, 6.28 • 62

Therefore, the answer to the first circle is 389.36

For the second circle we do the same thing, so
389.36 + 389.36 is equal to 778.72.

124 + 200 + 778.72 = 1102.72

I hope I helped!
