The answer is C.

The early European trades would not be looking or uranium, considering it would only come into use several hundred years later. Petroleum, if discovered that early, would have been of no use. So the answer is between cash crops and enslaved people. There was a trade triangle that stretched from the colonies to West Africa to Cuba. Rum would travel to West Africa where slaves were loaded up on the ships taken to Cuba and then transported to the new world or even to Europe. The answer therefore would not be cash crops.
