Write the product as a trinomial. (m – 6)(m + 3)

m2 – 18

m2 – 3m – 18

m2 – 3m + 18

m2 + 3m – 18

I'm going to use the foil method.

First

Outside

Inner

Last

So let's multiply the first term in each factor:

m*m=m^2

Then the outer terms:

m*3=3m

Then we'll multiply the inner terms:

-6*m=-6m

And finally, the last terms:

-6*3=-18

Now add everything that we got together:

m^(2)+3m-6m-18

And simplify:

m^(2)-3m-18

And that's your final answer!
