Could the lengths 12cm , 35cm , and 37cm be the side lengths of a right triangle ? explain .

IF a triangle is a right triangle, THEN the sum of the squares of the two shorter sides equals the square of the longest side (the hypotenuse)

37^2 = 35^2 + 12^2
1369 = 1225 + 144
1369 = 1369

they both are equal so those sides could be the lengths of a right triangle
