If I have 32 liters of gas at a temperature of 47.0 °C and a pressure of 50.0 atm, what will be the pressure of the gas if I raise the temperature to 127 °C and decrease the volume to 10.0 liters?

Answer:

200atm

Step-by-step explanation:

(P1V1)/T1 = (P2V2)/T2

where:

P1 = pressure of the gas in first condition

V1 = volume of the gas in first condition

T1 = temperature of the gas in first condition

P2 = pressure of the gas in second condition

V2 = volume of the gas in second condition

T2 = temperature of the gas in second condition in Kelvin

(50×32)÷(273+47) = (P2×10)×(273+127)

P2 =(50×32×400)÷(320×10)

= 200 atm

Hope this helps
