Larimar is a gemstone and also called “Stefelia’s Stone”, an uncommon blue variation of silicate mineral pectolite. It is found in the Caribbean of Dominican Republic. This gemstone is a volcanic pebble that is coming from the volcanic eruption. The one who discovered Larimar is Father Miguel Domingo Fuertes Loren, a Spanish Priest.

A. Taino. Among the choices, only Taino represents a name for an Indian group residing in Puerto Rico therefore we can be sure this first item is describing it.

The Tainos were said to be the first inhabitants of Puerto Rico, and were present to welcome Colombus into their area, only to be attacked by him. Tainos were the original residents of Puerto Rico and it is said that there genetics still exist until today.

B. US Trade Embargo. As the United States' response to the Cuban Revolution back in 1962, the US embargo was implemented against Cuba. This deprived the entire country with a lot of trade and travel opportunities, and was also responsible for removing Cuba's access to new technologies. This was the longest trade embargo in history.

C. 1950s. Since the implementation of the trade embargo restricted the Cuban residents from buying almost anything brand new, they were stuck with the 1950s edition of the cars they owned. The trade embargo prohibited the residents from buying any cars outside, therefore they were forced to keep their current cars.

D. Larimar. Discovered by Father Miguel Domingo Fuertes Loren who is a Spanish priest, the Larimar is a gemstone consisting of silicate mineral Pectolite. The gemstone is also called "Stefalia's Stone" and it's composed of pebbles from a volcanic eruption. This stone can only be found in the Carribean of the Dominican Republic.

E. Merengue and Bachata. Without knowing about the two terms being described in this item, we can immediately know it's Merengue and Bachata from the fact that it's the only option with two terms.

Merengue and Bachata are forms of music which are typically accompanied by the dances that were both named after the music. The dances for these forms of music are performed in pairs.

F. Storytelling. Since the Taino people were among the first inhabitants to reside in Puerto Rico, they can only pass their culture and traditions through storytelling, often by using word of mouth only. The elders pass down the traditions through the younger ones by telling them about it.

G. Communist Nation. Under the leadership of Fidel Castro, Cuba was converted into a communist nation. Castro believed that following a communist type of development where the country would be ruled by one party would be the best for Cuba. This marked the first time a country in the Western Hemisphere adopted the communist rule.

H. Cuba. After the rising tensions between America and Cuba in the Cold War ultimately severed their connection in 1961, Cuba decided to open up to America again last July 20, 2015. Barack Obama, being the president of the United States at that time, became the first ambassador to visit the country in over 50 years.

I. Puerto Rico. Puerto Rico is part of the Caribbean Islands despite being a US territory. The US acquired the country in 1898, after conquering it from Spain after the Spanish-American War. The country is populated with approximately 3.5 million residents which makes it the US territory with the most population. Everyone born in Puerto Rico are US citizens.

J. Amber. The description in this item refers to Amber. It is a tree resin which is fossilized to turn into a beautiful transparent stone-like accessory which is commonly used as a jewelry.

A unique type of amber can be found in the Dominican Republic only, and it's the blue amber. This amber exhibits an ordinary color (yellowish) in artificial light, but it turns blue when exposed to sunlight.
