First, find the perimeter of the rug.
P=3.6 + 3.6 + 1.98 + 1.98 = 11.16 m
Second, find the perimeter of the table.
P=1.07 + 1.07 + 0.39 + 0.39 = 2.92 m
Third, subtract the are of the perimeter of the table from the perimeter of the rug.
11.16 m - 2.92 m = 8.24 m

So the answer is A. 8.24m
