How does Jonas feel when his mother says she is sad?

1:when jonas heard his mother say she is sad... he knew that it was not a real sadness because jonas had experienced real sadness, he had felt grief and he knew that there was no quick comfort for emotion like sadness

2:for the giver, the release is just simply following rules because they dont know what they are doing as they have no memory of death,pain a d murder. They donot associate release with any feeling because feeling were not part of their life anymore when they chose to sameness.

3:it was important to make jonas understand because..if by any chance if the giver also run with jonas together...the community will have nobody to depend on because once when they lost Rosemary her memories returned to the people and they panicked..and since the reciever was the only person to hold their memories for generations and generations for them...he helped them.

4:the giver possesses the quality to hear beyond and he acquired it when he heard music when he was younger than jonas...

5:no..jonas doesn't possess the same quality..he possess the quality to see beyond because he can see colour..
