Hi Shark

y = x + 4
y = -2x - 2

We need to solve y = x + 4 for y
We gonna do that by substitute x + 4 for y in y = -2x - 2
y = -2x - 2
x + 4 = -2x - 2
x + 2x = -2 - 4
3x = -6
Divide both sides by 3
3x/3 = -6/3
x = -2

Now substitutes -2 for x in y = x + 4
y = x + 4
y = -2 + 4
y = 2
Final answer : (-2;2)

Good luck :)
