Answer: 7.9 cm

Explanation:

Given : This figure is 1/4 of a circle.

The radius of the figure = 5 inch

We know that the perimeter of the circle is given by :-


perimeter =2\pi r

Then the perimeter of 1/4 of the circle is given by :-


perimeter =(1)/(4)*2\pi r


\\\Rightarrow\ perimeter =(1)/(4)*2(3.14)*5.........[since\ \pi=3.14]\\\\\Rightarrow\perimeter=7.85\approx7.9\ cm

Hence, the perimeter of the given figure = 7.9 cm
