For 4 more than the second expression, we will add 4 with second expression.

4(5x-8) = 2(4-x) + 4

20x - 32 = 8 -2x +4

20x + 2x = 12 + 32

22x = 44

Dividing both sides by 22


(22x)/(22)=(44)/(22)\\x=2

Hence,

For x=2, the expression 4(5x-8) will be 4 more than the expression 2(4-x)
