= 9/12 - 3/12
= 9-3 / 12 [ Your lower number is same ]
= 6 / 12
= 1/2
In short, Your Answer would be 1/2

It would be 6/12 (because 9-3=6) and then simplified it would be 1/2, because 6 is 1/2 of 12.
