There are 4 women and 4 men on a committee. A subcommittee of three people is selected at random. What is the probability that all three people selected are women, given that all three selected are the same gender?

Remember that most probability questions are kind of like fractions .

So in all , there is 8 people because 4 girls and four boys.

So we need a fraction to represent the probability of 3 of the same gender .

If they are all the same gender . Then the probability would be 3/4 or another fraction to show both genders combined is 3/8.

You don't need to reduce since it's already in its lowest form.

I hope this helps!
