Formula is : length x width x height = Area of a cuboid.
So..
2 x 4 x w (width) = 24 cubic feet
24/8 = 3 ft
The width is 3 feet.

The width is 3 feet. If you set up your equation like so...
lwh = A
(4) (2) (w) = 24
Then proceed to divide 24 by 4 and 2.
(4) (2) (w) = 24
/4 /4
2w = 6
/2 /2
w = 3 feet
