Make sure to write down events (example: Invasion of Poland is an event during the start of WW2) Then write down the date (September 1st, 1939.) Then write a summary/ overview thats short. (German tanks and planes had used the "Blitzkrieg" tactic to speedily take down Polish forces and capture Warsaw.)
