When an oceanic plate and a continental plate collide, what is the resulting feature?

it could form a trench, or a mountain range, or one plate could subduct beneath another and the other "floating" on top.

oceanic plate crust is thinner and denser than continental crust, so the thinner oceanic crust gets bent and pulled under the continental crust. this creates a subtraction zone.
