The equation is: 4x + y + a = 0

Point (4, -3) ⇒ x = 4 and y = - 3

⇒ 4 · 4 - 3 + a = 0

16 - 3 +a = 0

13 + a = 0

a = -13

Ansver: equation is: 4x + y - 13 = 0 OR 4x + y = 13
