This fossil records are found and they are changes due to evolution each animal had its own way to survive and did his body this is why the specie looks different than when it started.

There are different fossil shapes of the same species, for example, the man....... skulls use to be more flat (or so they say) and later on it starts to become larger and larger.... ( at least thats what they believe in)
