Line equation in slope and y-intercept form:

y = mx + b

To calculate the slope, we use the first two points: (24,-15) and (28, -17)

m = (y2 - y1)/(x2 - x1)

m = (-17 - (-15))/(28 - 24)

m = (-17 + 15)/(4

m = -2/4 = -1/2

To find b we use the first point: (24, -15)

y = mx + b

b = y - mx = -15 - (-1/2)(24) = -15 + 12 = -3

b = -3

Answer:

y = (-1/2) x - 3
