Clarissa is having lunch at a sandwich shop. She can choose white bread or pumpernickel bread. Her options for fillings are turkey, tuna, ham, or egg salad. Her choices for condiments are mayonnaise, salad dressing, or mustard. How many different sandwich choices does Clarissa have?

The answer would be 24.

Let's begin with the sandwich choices we have with the White bread. We then add the fillings and now we have 4 different choices (since we have 4 different fillings). Then, we add the condiments, where we have 3 different options. This totals for a variety of 12 different sandwich choices for lunch.

Then, we suddenly change our mind and decide to have pumpernickel bread instead. Since we have the same choices for fillings and condiments, we multiply 12 by 2 (because we got 12 options of sandwiches with white bread, and the options are repeated). We get 24.

Clarissa has 24 different options of sandwiches in her menu for lunch.
