6W + 7 = 12

to solve this, just isolate W

\begin{gathered} 6W+7=12 \\ \text{substract 7 in both sides} \\ 6W+7-7=12-7 \\ 6W=5 \\ divide\text{ each side by 6} \\ (6W)/(6)=(5)/(6) \\ W=(5)/(6) \end{gathered}

so, the answer is w=5/6
