In order for a driver to graduate from a learner’s license to an operator’s license, how many hours of driving need to be documented? How many nighttime driving hours are required?

To graduate from a learners license to an operators license you need these steps below.

1.) Must be at least 16 years old.
2.) Hold learners license for 12 months or age 18 (whichever comes first)
3.) Have driven at least 50 hours with learners license (10 of which were at night)
4.) Provide signed Certification of Minor Driving Experience Form.
5.) Passed driving skills test. (The vehicle used for the driving test must have a current registration and be insured.)
