there are 52 cards in a standard deck of cards and four suits to the cards (hearts, clubs, spades, and diamonds). each suit has 13 cards in it. so if the cards that are placed on the table are a queen and an ace, then two cards are gone from the deck, leaving only 50 cards left. then you have to take out the rest of the queens and the aces which leaves you with 44 cards. of those 44 cards that are left, only 8 of them can be used to win the game. so the ration is 8:44 which can be reduced to 2:11
