This technology has helped us better understand how and why certain genes are turned on and off. This could also be used and manipulated by scientists to turn what genes they desire on or off.

By the use of this technology "Gene Regulation", any step of gene expression maybe modulated, Scientists can study every stage, where the gene gets regulated. They can use their cloning tools & can investigate the physiological effects of switching any specific gene on or off in living animals
