Using what you know about eyesight and image processing, why can age affect the function of the eyes?

As you get old not only your skin, hair, and etc get old. Your eyes when you reach the 45 y/o usually your reading vision reduces and not only that. But that's 1 thing lol

As we get older, the shape of our eye-ball becomes less spherical with low focus point, means, it feels trouble in having image formation at specific point on the Retina, so in short, the efficiency/ Proper functioning of our eyes get reduced.
