what I know that you have to do is you have to set like to vertical lines where it says: #<x<# so you know what you how much you have to graph when plugging in the numbers I hope I at least helped you out a bit

AP algebra? I thought they only had AP Calc,

ok so this is a piecewise function

basicalally it is meaning that you has to graph both functions, but each one only in the ranges indicated

ok
so
basically the first part
do the first piece
|x|, -3≤x≤1
graph |x| from x=-3 to x=1
basicallly graph and connect the dots (-3,3) and (-2,2) and (-1,1) and (0,0) and (1,1)
end with open circle since yo have x<1, not x≤1

2nd piece
4 from 1 to 8
just graph y=4 from y=1 to y=8
points (1,4), (2,4), (3,4), etc
closed circles
