(20 points) Can someone explain how to factor 15x^2y^2 - 3x^3y + 75x^4

First, notice that each term has a common factor of
3x^2.


15x^2y^2-3x^3y+75x^4=3x^2(5y^2-xy+25x^2)

Now, the remaining quadratic factor can't be factored any further, so you're done.
