Every cubic millimeter of blood contains about 7500 white blood cells. A count less than 1500 above this number is still considered healthy. Is a white cell count of 8750 considered healthy? Explain.

Yes, it is considered healthy. If a count less than 1500 above 7500 is still considered healthy, that means that a total count of 9000 white blood cells or less is still considered healthy, and anything above that isn't. 8750 is below 9000, so it's considered healthy.
