Two vertices of a right triangle have coordinates (20, 15) and (20, 27) . The segment that connects these points is a leg of the triangle.

Which coordinate pair for the third vertex would create a right triangle?

 (7, 27)

 (20, 32)

 (27, 20)

 (20, 20)

The third vertex would be (7,27)
If you used another point with an x value of 20 it would make a vertical line with the other 2 points. This leaves only 2 options. The (27,20) is not horizontal with either of the two given points.
