What is the 15th term in the pattern with the formula 10n – 5?

Try substituting n = 15?

okay so nth term. it took me a while to work out when I was learning it so here is how I figured it out. n is always counted in 1s so 1 2 3 4 5 and so on. so if you are looking for the 15th term then n will equal 15 so you substitute that in and you get 10 times 15 minus 5 so because bidmas exists you do 10 time 15 which is 150 then you minus 5 which is 145
