Do the formula c^2=a^2+b^2
Plug in the number
c^2=12^2+5^2
c^2=144+25
c^2=169
Then square root it
Which would get you 13 so
C=13
Hope it helped

Answer:

c = 13

Explanation:

pythogoras theorem

a² + b² = c²

5² = 25

12² = 144

25 + 144 = 169

√169 = 13

c = 13
