y=x^2

We will graph the given function using the points that will be written in ordered-pairs.

The given function is a quadratic function with a vertex = (0, 0)

We will graph the points using five points

The vertex and 4 points, 2 points before the vertex and 2 points after the vertex.

So, we will substitute x = -4, -2, 2, 4


\begin{gathered} x=-4\rightarrow y=16 \\ x=-2\operatorname{\rightarrow}y=4 \\ x=2\operatorname{\rightarrow}y=4 \\ x=4\operatorname{\rightarrow}y=16 \end{gathered}

So, the points are: (-4, 16), (-2, 4), (0, 0), (2, 4), (4, 16)
