The corpus callosum forms the bridge between the right and left cerebral hemispheres. Corpus callosum is a band of the nerve fibers which connect both the hemispheres of the brain. The communication between the two hemispheres of the brain is facilitated by these nerve fibers forming a band. The neural messages are transmitted via corpus callosum.

Hence, the answer is 'corpus callosum'.
