Determine height of the pole by using the pythagoras theorem in triangle.


\begin{gathered} l^2=b^2+h^2 \\ (35)^2=(14)^2+h^2 \\ 1225-196=h^2 \\ h=\sqrt[]{1029} \\ =32.078 \\ \approx32.08 \end{gathered}

Thus, height of the flagpole is 32.08 feet.
