Area = 3.14 * radius^2
It gives you the height of the circle. 1.7. Which is also the diameter.
Half of the diameter is the radius. So 1.7 /2 = 0.85. 0.85 is the radius.
Now you can use the formula A = pi * r^2
3.14 * 0.85^2 = 2.26865 ft ^2
