The answer is D. y-3=6(x+8). To create a slope-intercept equation using the point and slope, you must take the y value, 3, and write it as y-3. You must distribute the slope 6, to the x. Then, you must take your x value, -8, and subtract it from x. Since a negative minus a negative is a positive, you write an addition sign instead of a minus sign. Equations equivalent to this one would be y-3=6(x--8), and y=6x-45 (slope-intercept).
